We are seeking two Specialist Weight Management Health Trainers to work solely with weight management clients that have been referred to the Portsmouth Health Trainer service. The focus of this role is to work with individuals, which have been recognised as being obese with a body mass index of between 35 and 40.

You will offer one-to-one behaviour change support to individuals wishing to manage their weight in line with the services, weight management protocols and pathways as well as signposting, networking and liaising with local health improvement providers.

The successful candidate will hold the City and Guilds level 3 qualification in Health Training (or equivalent) and a level 2 qualification in weight management (or equivalent). You will be supported to achieve a level 3 qualification in weight management.
