Community Researchers

In 2004 Learning Links the Community Researchers Programme was developed, to train local people to carry out community research. This programme still runs successfully in Hampshire empowering people to become active community members and to have an influence on the shape of their community.

Community researchers are local residents that undertake quality assured training to be able to carry out research and consultation in their own communities on issues of local relevance.

Since then we have won awards as well as developing a one day training course on delivering Community Researcher’s and Community Development Workshops.

Right now in the context of the Big Society Commnutiy Researchers is a key part of the current need.
