Babcock   Funder: Babcock - Project: Nextsteps
Neststeps is aimed at 20+, Key Workers give careers advice. Nextsteps can be broken down into two categories: Universal Service which is available to anybody and Differentiated and Personalised Service (D&P) or the Universal Plus service. The D&P service is available to anybody currently unemployed and below level 3 qualification. The Universal Plus service is available to people referred under IES trial by JCP who are qualified at level 3 or above.

A4e   Funder: A4e – Project: JCPSC
This is run by Job Centre Plus (JCP) referral only and is aimed at Job Seekers Allowance (JSA), Newly Redundant, NDLP (New Deal for Lone Parents), NDP (New Deal for Partners) and Carers. It provides short modular training covering employability skills, with IAG / mentoring follow up support through 6 week job search. This also has vocational training modules, pre & post employment mentoring and modular / work placement training module for NDLP, NDP & Carers only.

Portsmouth NHS - Funder: NHS Portsmouth - Project: Portsmouth Health Trainers
Health Trainer clients typically require help and guidance with health-related issues such as smoking cessation, healthy eating and weight loss, and is free to service users. Health Trainers are based in local community centre’s, ensuring that they are able to engage with the very community that they are targeting. A small number of health trainers also work out of probation centres, again ensuring that they are able to assist a hard to reach group of people.

Health Trainer clients typically require help and guidance with health-related issues such as stop smoking, healthy eating, sensible drinking, getting active and emotional wellbeing. This is a free to service Gosport residents. Health Trainers are based in local community centre’s, ensuring that they are able to engage with the very community that they are targeting. A small number of health trainers also work out of probation centres, again ensuring that they are able to assist a hard to reach group of people.
