Paul had been unemployed for 18 months and heard from a friend that Learning Links facilitate the practice sessions to obtain a CSCS (Construction Site Certification Scheme) card to improve his prospects of finding employment. Paul was assigned a Key Worker, on his first appointment the Key Worker found out that he had never had a CV and agreed to create one during a follow-up appointment.
John was made redundant in September 2009, aged 59, and joined the Reach Out project in October to receive support with getting back to work and wanted help with putting together an up-to-date CV as well as gaining his CSCS Health & Safety Certificate in Construction Skills to improve his prospects of employability.John felt a CSCS card would be beneficial for making his job search a little easier.
